Around 06:30, before Bali’s roads get busy. Your exact time is confirmed before departure.

Check in for the fast boat around 07:30 and wait for the crossing.

Angel’s Billabong
A natural rock pool cut into black volcanic rock. Your guide checks the tide and waves before anyone steps in.
Broken Beach
Walk the cliff rim above the rock arch, where the sea pushes through into the cove.
Kelingking Beach
The T-Rex-shaped headland from the clifftop viewpoint. The staircase to the beach is steep and takes hours, so the day stays at the top.
Lunch
A local restaurant lunch around 13:00, with a pause in the shade before the beach part of the day.
Crystal Bay
Swim when conditions are friendly, or stay on the sand beside the boats and palm trees.
Boat back to Bali
Return by fast boat around 16:30, then continue to your hotel by road.

Before you go
- Wear
- Light clothing, walking shoes or trekking sandals for rocky ground, a hat and sunglasses. Add swimwear for Crystal Bay and a light jacket for the boat.

- Sunscreen, drinking water, a dry bag for your phone, a change of clothes, personal medication and cash for personal expenses.
- Plan for the boat
- Take seasickness tablets before departure if you are prone to motion sickness. The crossing takes about 30-45 minutes each way.
Children, older guests and the coast
- Viewpoints, not the beach descent
- The Kelingking staircase to the beach is very steep and takes hours. The day tour visits the clifftop viewpoint.
- Swim only when it is safe
- Angel’s Billabong and Crystal Bay are open to swimming only when the tide and waves allow it. Follow your guide and the barriers.
- Who is coming?
- Children can join, and operators quote minimum ages of about 5 to 7 years. Boat steps, uneven ground, heat and the length of the day are the parts to weigh up.

The day starts at your hotel and crosses to Nusa Penida by fast boat. The island route covers the west coast: Angel’s Billabong, Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach and Crystal Bay.

How long does the day take?
Allow 10-11 hours from hotel pickup to hotel drop-off, with about 7-8 hours on the island. The fast boat takes around 30-45 minutes each way.
What is included in the price?
Hotel pickup and drop-off, round-trip fast boat tickets, a private car and driver on the island, an English-speaking guide, entrance fees to the four stops and lunch. Personal expenses, extra drinks, tips and unselected snorkeling are not included.
How much does the tour cost?
The rate is per person and depends on your group size: IDR 1,600,000 for one guest, IDR 1,200,000 each for two, IDR 1,000,000 each for three, IDR 900,000 each for four and IDR 800,000 each for five. Larger groups are quoted in chat.
Can I add snorkeling?
Yes. Manta Bay snorkeling is IDR 350,000 per person and Manta Point is IDR 450,000 per person, on top of the day tour. Manta sightings depend on the sea and weather, and Manta Point has the better chance.
Do I need to hike to Kelingking Beach?
No. The tour visits the clifftop viewpoint. The staircase down to the beach is steep, exposed and takes hours, so it is not part of a day tour.
Can we swim at Angel’s Billabong and Crystal Bay?
Only when the tide and waves are safe. Your guide checks the conditions and gives the final word. Never turn your back on the sea at Angel’s Billabong, and follow the barriers and warning signs.
Is the tour suitable for children or older guests?
Children can join, but operators quote different minimum ages, usually between 5 and 7 years, and snorkeling has separate age and swimming requirements.
