Your Alasan UTV route

A 7 km guided route through bamboo forest, river, technical obstacle and mud. The UTV route does not include Gorilla Cave.

  1. Training track

    Practise the controls in a supervised session before joining the main route.

  2. Bamboo forest

    Follow your guide beneath dense bamboo and tropical vegetation.

  3. River track

    Continue through the water section, shaped by the current track conditions.

  4. Handicap section

    Take on the technical obstacle stretch with guidance from the activity team.

  5. Mud track

    Finish across muddy ground where grip changes with the weather.

Age, health & ride requirements

Driver
Aged 17-60, at least 150 cm tall and 50-200 kg, in good physical condition.
Tandem passenger
Aged 7-60. Combined weight 60-200 kg. The driver must still meet every driver requirement.

  • Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs
On the track
The track can be wet, muddy, uneven or slippery. Follow your guide's instructions; the operator makes the final safety assessment on the day.

How do I book the Alasan UTV?

Choose your UTVs, date, start time and pickup in the booking form on this page. Continue to add your name and optional email, then send the prepared request on WhatsApp. Our team confirms availability and payment arrangements in chat.

What is the difference between a UTV and an ATV?

A UTV is a side-by-side vehicle: you sit inside it, with a steering wheel, pedals and a roll cage, and the driver and passenger sit next to each other. An ATV is a quad bike that you ride on, steering with handlebars.

Does the UTV route go through Gorilla Cave?

No. The UTV route covers a training track, bamboo forest, river track, technical obstacle section and mud track, but it does not include Gorilla Cave.

Is the price per person or per UTV?

The price is per UTV. The 800cc Single is IDR 1,700,000, the 1000cc Single IDR 1,900,000, the 800cc Tandem IDR 2,000,000 and the 1000cc Tandem IDR 2,300,000. A Tandem carries one driver and one passenger at one price.

Can I combine different UTVs?

Yes. Choose any combination of the four options for one shared date and start time. You can request up to 20 UTVs in total; availability is confirmed in chat.

Is hotel pickup included?

Pickup is optional and separate from the UTV price. Each car carries up to 6 guests: Ubud IDR 400,000, Kuta/Sanur/Seminyak/Canggu IDR 600,000, and Nusa Dua/Jimbaran IDR 700,000 per car. Other areas need a quote.

How long does the activity take?

Allow 2-3 hours from check-in to the end of your meal. The ride covers about 7 km in around 1 hour, depending on track conditions and your group.

Can children ride, and what are the requirements?

A Tandem passenger can be 7-60 years old. The driver must be 17-60, at least 150 cm tall and 50-200 kg, in good physical condition.
