250cc and 450cc compared

Single means one rider on one ATV. Tandem means a driver and passenger share an ATV. Ask Alasan to confirm the vehicle and seating arrangement for your group, especially when booking with children.

The riding times exclude registration, equipment fitting, the briefing, changing and your meal. Allow for hotel travel separately.

On Alasan's track

The route moves through bamboo forest, Gorilla Cave, river terrain and mud. A training track gives you time to practise the controls before the main ride. The 450cc route adds the section Alasan calls the handicap section.

Expect wet, uneven ground and clothes that need changing afterwards. Ask the guide about any section you are unsure about before setting off.

Who can ride?

Alasan lists drivers aged 16-60 and tandem passengers aged 5-60. Bali Wander's Single-rider requirements also include a minimum height of 150 cm and good physical condition. Confirm each child's age and the driver's eligibility before booking.

Alasan does not permit pregnant guests or people with a history of heart disease or congenital conditions to take part in its extreme activities. Children under 5 cannot join this ATV ride.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothes suitable for mud and secure closed-toe shoes. Bring a full dry change, sunscreen, insect repellent, ID for registration and a bag for wet clothes. A waterproof pouch helps protect your phone.

Bali Wander confirms availability, payment, cancellation and rescheduling terms through WhatsApp. Sending a request does not reserve an ATV automatically. Confirm your check-in time, pickup cost and final total before agreeing to the booking.

Common questions

Can I join if I have never ridden an ATV?

Alasan provides a safety briefing and a training track. Tell the booking team and guide that you are a first-time rider so they can confirm a suitable option before you ride.

Can children drive a Tandem ATV?

The minimum listed driving age is 16. Tandem passengers must be aged 5-60; children ride with an adult, subject to operator approval. Share each child's age when booking.

Do I need a driving licence?

The information reviewed does not establish a licence requirement. Confirm it with Alasan before booking, and bring ID for registration.
